Why is there a price range?
Our team aims to enable people from all across society to access this opportunity to develop their participatory leadership capacity. We understand that people working in different sectors often operate in very different economic realities. For some, £900 for a 3.5-day residential training is cheap. For others, £500 is a stretch. Therefore, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all fee, we have built the training budget based on a price range that ensures we cover all the costs and seeks to make the training accessible to as many people as possible. How should I choose what to pay? It's pretty simple, everyone's fees will combine to make the training viable, so pay what you can afford to contribute within the £500-£900 range.

How do the bursary's work?
We have 10 bursary places available to support participants whose work addresses themes of peace, justice, health, climate or civic engagement but who do not have the budget to cover the general fee. As we have a commitment through this training to cultivate a community of practice on the island of Ireland, 6 of 10 bursaries have been ring fenced for participants based in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. If that sounds like you, consider applying. Bursaries will be award on a case-by-case basis. To ensure we make the training as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, please only apply for a bursary if the general fee range is truly out of your / your organisation's reach. How does the bursary fee range work? Exactly the same as the general range above - you are invited to pay what you can afford to contribute within the £300-£450 range. |
